Blockers and Drivers For my Learning

In Reading we had to create a post about our Blockers and Drivers, a driver is something that helps us with our learning and a blocker is something that Blocks our learning. I found it quite hard to chose between my Blockers and Drivers because sometimes at a different time a blocker helped me.

For Example:
Drawing my Ideas is sometimes quite hard because I'm not the best drawer but sometimes it could be a driver in my learning because it could help me complete a task to do with drawing so it depends.

Another example:
Presenting to a group is another one because I sometimes get very embarrassed explaining my findings but sometimes it's a driver because after I have presented to a group I can get feedback/feedforward.

WALT: Rote learn and listen and look at pictures closely. 
In class we read the book "where the wild things are" then after that we had to make up our own questions. In this post I have answered the questions but you have to guess what the questions are that I made up! 

Sudoku Puzzle

Task: Complete a Sudoku puzzel as fast as you can. ( I had to got to a workshop and left my computer to go to sleep, the time kept going).  

Description:
In class we had to solve a sudoko puzzle. I found it quite challenging in the end because I am not so good with numbers!I had to start again and again 3 times before I got it right!

Here is my learning dispositions goals and what I need to improve on.

Seed to table plants.

For one of our seed to table tasks we had to take a picture over seven days and see how much a plant had changed in that time. Check my plants out! They definitely have changed. Why? I have been watering them really well, and I think the weather conditions are really good for the type of plant. The plant is called corn flowers. They are a pretty blue color. Try and picture it in your head!

ANZAC Day

Here is a poster that I did on Anzac day. This tells you all about ANZAC day. Question. Do you think children should be in the Anzac parade? I think so because it is a great way for kids to remember and learn about the Anzac soldiers. It's also cool that children can have this opportunity to back and support the Anzac soliders and our country!  I hope you learn something from this poster. WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ?

I am proud of myself for being able to complete the Weetbix Try-Athlon with out stopping.

What was most challenging ?

I think the running was the most challenging because I don’t have very much breath and it was hard not to stop.

What did you enjoy most ?

I enjoyed the bike because it was not tiring and it was fun.

I was relaxed and it felt like a break from everything.

What did you learn ? 

I learnt that if I put my mind to it I can doalmost anything.

WALT set smart goals

Here is some of my camp goals. Here is an example down below of what we had to use in our goals.

Now here is my camp goals!

Goal 1:
I achieved my goal by looking at the time about every ten minutes. I also looked at my timetable to find out what time I had to be there and what activity I had to go to. My group mates  encouraged me to look at the time so that I could help them also get to the right place.

Goal 2: Yay I did it, I got down to the bottom of the abseiling wall. I achieved this by believing in myself and getting it over and done with. My friends encouraged me to go down the abseiling wall. I  felt a lot more confer dent, when ants Said "Well done, keep going."

Next time:
Next time I want to be a bit more confer dent while going through the cave. I think I will be a bit more conferdent next time because I have gone through the cave before.

The most expensive country that I could find.

I watched this video about a boy who drew a picture of a butterfly. He drew a draft. He drew 6 drafts before he got his finished butterfly. His friends gave him lots of Ideas to help him with this his drawing.    His butterfly looked amazing at the end. Here is the link to watch the video.
In class we had to find a really expensive country. New Zealand was an expensive country.
